One day I went out to collet the eggs and I found one that was large – actually it was mega size!
I thought I would share some pictures with you.

Wow! I have never seen an egg this big before in my life. I have so enjoyed having laying hens and learning about hobby farming. Come visit Lilylaine Farms and buy some eggs!

We used to buy eggs from a farmer, not sure what happened but we don't anymore. I remember she used to be our egg lady and would call us up to let us know when she had eggs for us 🙂 But they look good, that's for sure!
Wow, now THAT'S an egg!!! I should look for a local farmer. I try to buy free-range / grain-fed at the grocery store, but it's not always an option, and I'd rather know exactly what kind of conditions the animals are being kept in.
