I set out at the beginning of June to complete the 30 Day Ab Challenge. I think I made it to day 12. Then I missed a day, which became a couple days and here I am at the end of the month wondering where it all went.
But I’m not worried about it or stressed about it. Tomorrow is a new day and a new month is on the way. My July challenge will be the 30 Day Ab Challenge: Re-Boot. Yup, going to attempt it for a second time.
A friend started a FB page for a group of us who are doing the challenge. The other day I posted about not keeping up with it and to my surprise there were others too who also felt at ease when they learned there were others who were in the same boat. Most of them have also said they will re-do the challenge.
I know that just because I didn’t finish the challenge this month I am not a failure. It’s time for me to stop using negative talk when it comes to trying to exercise and eat healthy. When there is negative self talk in those areas it sabotages my goals. One of the woman posted an article that got me thinking about it more. Here is a link to the article, if you want to read it.
As a new month approaches a few days away, don’t worry about the past month, just look to the present and what you can do about it now.
