Let’s see – well I didn’t go back to my original weight. I didn’t go past my original weight, which can happen when people “diet”. You know, the Yo-Yo affect of dieting. I didn’t follow everything in the Phase for Life to a T. So I think that I did pretty well for where I am at right now. I’ve been eating what I want, only exercising when I feel like it. I must say that I don’t eat like I did before I took part in the Dukan Diet. I say no before I am too full it hurts and I don’t eat as many sweets as I was either. So What’s the verdict?
I did gain back 4 lbs. That’s not bad. It’s been a few months since I was on the diet and I only lost 11 lbs. I know someone who has lost 50 lbs following this change in lifestyle. I think if a person lost that much that they won’t gain much of it back. Especially if they keep the couple little tips that are suggested in the Phase for Life. I know that if I put my mind to it I could loose those 4 lbs, so I’m not too worried about it. what I am worried about is getting back to those lbs I was before the diet. I don’t want to go there again. It’s amazing how much difference 10 more lbs makes me feel.
I still want to exercise a little more and eat a little more healthier, and those things will happen. I’m trying to learn not to beat myself up over it if I don’t. If I’m trying to live a healthier lifestyle, that is better for me than not living one at all.
This makes an end to my last post for the Dukan Diet Series. Thanks for joining me on the journey and I hope you found the posts helpful and encouraged you to step out and make at least one change toward a healthier lifestyle for you.
