I know that I should drink a lot more water then I do. I don’t really drink a lot of pop or juice or other type of drinks. I’m a water person. I enjoy drinking water. When I started the 21 Day Fix, this is what I found out about water intake and posted on Instagram.
To find the amount of water intake you should have divide your weight (lbs) by 2 = amount of oz you should dink. I’m 90oz. I have to drink just over 3 1/2 of these cups. I put hair elastics on the cup. As I finish one I’ll put one elastic on my wrist. By the end of the day all elastics will be on my wrist… Hopefully! #21dayfix #healthtips #drinkmorewater #healthylifestyle
Seriously!? That’s a lot of water and a lot of trips to the bathroom! Well, as your body gets use to it, your trips to the bathroom decrease and your body begins to function the way it should. You will never have to worry about dehydration and drinking more water will help with your energy levels. Believe me, this is true. I’ve been there, done that.
On the Fix your drinks are water, coffee, and tea. BUT you can’t put sugar or cream or anything else in your coffee or tea. And if you want cream in your coffee… forget it. If you drink your coffee or tea black, your golden. You can pretty much drink as much as you want but be sure to get in your daily water intake. I can drink my tea without anything in it, so I’m good with that. My coffee on the other hand is a different story!
If you need something in your coffee, you can use skim milk and a sugar substitute, but that means you have to limit your coffee to 1 to 2 cups a day. That’s usually what I drink anyway (more on teh 2 cup side). I usually use a tsp of honey or maple syrup or Stevia/Splenda. Although, some coffees I’m getting to the point where I can drink it with only skim milk and some even black!
